ben stein, the former speechwriter for nixon, the stand up conservative's conservative has given a campaign donation to al franken. read the whole story here.
now, i'm no fan of norm coleman, but al franken?!?! i'm even less a fan of his.

You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally can't believe this. I occasionally disagree with Ben Stein but a huge percentage of the time he is right on the money. I am speechless.
This is just sickening to me. Norm Coleman may not be conservative enough but he has been stellar on fighting issues with the UN. To support Franken who has vehemently attacked honorable people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh is just beyond the pale.

yeah, bernie goldberg says that al franken is #37 on the list 100 people who are screwing up america (great book, btw). i agree. another guy who "makes my skin crawl."

that's what i want to know!! especially since ben is soooooo supportive of the creation theory being taught and franken is sooooo opposed to it...
