yesterday, while playing blog golf i came across this post from patrick. patrick posted a few sections of the letter from africa and it got me thinking. and searching.
for those of you who are frequent visitors you know that i have pretty much sworn off the politics of this year's presidential elections. however, i have been watching, with no small degree of amazement, the circus going on between obama and clinton.
prior to this excercise in research that i have been engaged in since patrick's post got stuck in my craw, i was decidedly AGAINST voting for john mccain as potus. however, based on the information i have unearthed, i have decided that i absolutely must change my position if it is barack hussein muhammed obama who is handed the nomination by the dnc.
i apologize, in advance, for the length of this post; but not the content. quite simply this is information that we must get out there and we need to make this post go viral. the letter mentioned above, in its entirety, is here:
Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama.
We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here.
Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence (over 350,000) and I don’t know the last count of the dead.
Obama under “friends of Obama” gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist trained in East Germany. He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country!
December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn’t win and possibly cause a race war in America.
What we would like you to know is what the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 911 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it.
Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim infiltration into their countries. By the way. His true name is Barak Hussein Muhammad Obama. Won’t that sound sweet to our enemies as they swear him in on the Koran!
God Bless you.
Pray for us here in Kenya. We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. Takeover from the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be the first targets.
Here in Kenya, not one mosque was burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in them, burned alive.
Jesus Christ is our peace but the new world order of Globalism has infiltrated the church and confused believers into thinking that they can compromise and survive. It won’t be so. I will send you a newsletter we sent out in February documenting in a more cohesive manner what I’ve tried to say in a few paragraphs.
Celeste and Loren Davis
celeste and loren davis are, indeed, missionaries serving in the kenya area. you can read about their missions here. in an email, mr. loren indicated to me that this was a personal email sent to a friend of theirs in response to some information sent to them on obama; they had no idea the information had begun to be disseminated to the world wide web.
yesterday i sent the following email to celeste and loren in attempting to verify the accuracy of the information in the posts.
recently there is a letter circulating the internet titled “a letter from africa” that is pertaining to barrack Obama and it is attributed to the two of you. is this a legitimate letter?
please advise, as if it is, I will be blogging on it in the near future…
thanks so much! and god bless you both in your endeavors.

This was a personal e-mail sent to a friend . It was in response to an email we had received regarding Obama. We did not know it would hit the worldwide web. Since it has, here is some more important information on Obama you won't find on the net.
ODM mentioned in the cartoon is the same party as Obama's cousin, Raila Odinga. Raila had the 100% backing of the Muslims and should he win would make Islam the only recognized religion in Kenya. This is an extension of the battle that is going on in Somalia, Sudan, Iraq and 9-11.
It appears Obama is using the same strategy as his cousin Raila used in America. We see the same thing happening here.

July 3, 2006 Houston Chronicle, an article was published by Jim Hoagland, a Pulitzer prize winning syndicated columnist who writes for the Washington Post.
The article is headlined: “THIS WORLD CAN’T TOLERATE MORE RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE”
Hoagland quotes Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.
“Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into UNIVERSAL, rather than RELIGIOUS-SPECIFIC VALUES. “NOW THIS IS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT FOR SOME WHO BELIEVE IN THE INERRANCY OF THE SACRED SCRIPTURES. But in a PLURALISTIC DEMOCRACY, we have NO CHOICE. Politics depends on our ability to persuade ea. Other of common aims based on a common reality…AT SOME FUNDAMENTAL LEVEL, RELIGION. DOES NOT ALLOW FOR COMPROMISE. It’s the art of the impossible. To base one’s life on such uncompromising commitments may be sublime; to base our policy-making on such commitments would be a DANGEROUS THING.”
Hoagland says, “Obama’s words could easily be adopted as well as guidelines for all gov’s in the Middle East and elsewhere”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the information provided gave me the places to look to find even more pertinent information. the article has a great deal of other "interesting" ideas but it seems it is no longer available at the houston chronicle unless i have an online subscription (i don't). a link to it in its entirety is here. the attachments referenced by mr. and mrs. davis are linked if you click on the title of each one above.
on 11 january 2008, this story ran in the u.k. telegraph. some pertinent information from the article by mr. mike pflanz:
Kenya's defeated presidential challenger Raila Odinga has claimed to be a cousin of Barack Obama and said that they had discussed his country's post-election violence.
Mr Odinga, 63, said that the US senator's father, from western Kenya's Luo tribe, was his maternal uncle.
"He has called me to talk about the destabilising constitutional crisis in this country, despite being in the middle of the very busy New Hampshire primary," Mr Odinga said yesterday.
Mr Obama's spokesman Robert Gibbs confirmed that the senator spoke to
the Kenyan opposition leader on Monday afternoon for about five minutes before going into a rally in New Hampshire, according to Associated Press.
and then:
Mr Obama has not commented on the Kenyan opposition leader's claim to be a relative.
and finally:
Mr Obama's uncle, Said Obama, said that his village, Kogela, in western Kenya, had been spared the violence and expressed his excitement as his US relative led polls in New Hampshire's Democrat primaries.
"Ah, that's wonderful, but I don't want to jump just yet," Said Obama told AP.
listen to odinga making the claims with his own mouth. too bad he didn't decide to follow in the footsteps of another of his relations - check it out here - it seems that the esteemed dick cheney and obama are distant relatives.
from another story in the u.k. telegraph is this tidbit:
It is said there is a bitter joke among Kenya's Luo community that the United States of America will elect a member of their tribe as president before the East African country does.
not very funny to me. how about you?
writing for the conservative voice, michael gaynor had just a slew of interesting tidbits, a few of which are below:
- "--Raila Odinga is of the Luo tribe to which Obama's late African-Arab Muslim father belonged. Obama's older brother still lives there; Abongo 'Roy' Obama is a Luo activist and militant Muslim who argues that the black man must liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture. He urges his younger brother, Barack, to embrace his African heritage. Barack Obama has a Kenyan grandmother [gaynor's note: according to Kenyan usage, not a biological grandmother] and several African brothers and sisters as well.
- "--Odinga claimed the election was rigged when he lost, then there were riots and a sort of civil war, but it was the Christians who were getting killed by the Muslims. Christians were burned alive in churches and they were macheted in the streets. It is reported that 1,000 people were killed when all was said and done. Right now, Odinga is claiming the presidency and fighting to be sole president, and in a diplomatic effort, the powers that be allowed him to be co-president until the election is figured out.
- "--Odinga also had an interesting political strategist help with his campaign, an American, who used to be a campaign employee of Bill Clinton's. It is the first time that an American political strategist has worked on any Kenyan campaign. Recommended by Barack Obama?
"--Raila Odinga's official presidential website is similar to Barack Obama's, and Odinga's main campaign message and slogan is: CHANGE. Vote for Change. Agent of Change. Look at his website: http://www.raila07.com/
there's so much more there and i encourage all of y'all to go read the whole thing. but how about odinga and obama both being "agents of change?" stop the aclu has a great post on this very thing, too.
a quick google search on 'muslims back obama' 827,000 items were returned in less than .19 seconds. hmmm, looks like there is some readily available information out there.
items like this article from the council on american-islamic relationship's (cair) website. in highlighting a convert to islam's (julia shearson) thoughts, the article says:
CAIR is not endorsing specific candidates, but she sees the move towards Mr Obama, by the young in particular, as part of a wider awakening.
i also liked this article and all its links. this article from the canada free press also got my attention and is well worth the read; one of the most salient nuggets is:
As a fledgling Christian, Obama didn't join just any church. He joined the United Church of Christ.
The United Church of Christ is very anti-Israel and supports divestment. It also sponsors speeches at its many functions by the Arab "Christian" pro-terror religious organization, Sabeel. Sabeel holds some of its biggest meetings in Chicago.
further
Is the "New Face" theory espoused in USA Today, New Face as in the "Portrait of Dorian Grey"?
What if Obama's into Pious Fraud Islam–Hudaibiyah treaty "kiss the hand of your enemy until you can cut it off"?. Not Obama? Remember the pictures of the little kids bobbing their heads up and down at the madrassas? They are all of the age Obama would have been in back in Indonesia.
judi mcleod finishes her article with:
Meanwhile hype notwithstanding, "the new face of change and reform for the democratic party" is no Abe Lincoln, but could be the most upwardly mobile Muslim of the millennium.
debbie schlussel certainly furthers the argument that obama is a muslim or at the very least is viewed as a muslim by the muslims. the good people over at frontpagemag.com agree with her. here. here. and here. but i think this is my favorite evidence that the muslims are supporting obama's run for potus. this picture really does say it all.
folks, the evidence is overwhelming. this is NOT a smear campaign. this is fact. and if you're not motivated to vote against obama by voting for mccain, then you are being just plain stubborn. please do not take this as an all out endorsement for john mccain; in fact if obama doesn't get the democrat nomination i still probably won't vote for mccain. but if he does, i'm voting for mccain. i hope all of you will join me.
in the course of my research i have been introduced to whole new gang of bloggers and i am infinitely better for the finds. i encourage all of you to check out the following links: the baltimore reporter, conservative thoughts, death by 1000 papercuts, and jaspar jottings.
i have diligently researched every statement and link within this post. it is my intention to not only inform, but also to inflame and motivate others out there who may be where i was.
btw, angel is blogging on how the fight to stop islam invading our country is racist. check out her post and let her know you were there.
I blogged a while back about Obama's father's connections to marxism, islamists and Kenyan politics. BO also has many connections to not only domestic terrorists Ayers and Dohrn but also the PLO and Saddam's regime. I have posted on them as well.
Great post Heidi, its no wonder Hamas and Iran's mullahs also like Obama, not to mention AQ and their affiliates around the world.

Precisely. I just linked to this post and said it's time to get our priorities in order. Obama must be stopped.

Wow, Heidianne! Excellent research and writing. I've seen the orginal e-mail before and knew some of the tribal history of Kenya and Obama's family history there but no where near as much as near as much as you've uncovered here. Unfortunately, the American voting public won't care. Those not voting for Obama will still not vote for him but those supporting him will say it is just Republican propaganda and fear tactics. It's a shame how uninformed our citizens are. Otherwise, a man with no experience to speak of and a far left agenda, like Obama, would never have sailed into first place in his party.
Well done, Heidianne.

Are you aware that the sources for this story, Loren Davis and Celeste Davis, also say that the NFL is a servant of Satan (yes, the National Football League)?
Are you aware that Loren Davis Ministries has written that the American flag is an evil symbol that supports Devil worship?
Please do some independent research - read this document, which Loren Davis tried to delete from his web site, but is now preserved as a PDF - you can find it through Google Cache if you don't believe me.
http://irregulartimes.com/lorendavisstarcrazy.pdf
It clearly establishes that Loren Davis is an unreliable source of information, and that these attacks against Barack Obama are not credible.
I'm writing this to you because I don't want to see you damage your own credibility by passing on this urban legend. Please consider the degree of embarrassment that may come upon you for passing on obviously false information.

Looks like your very thorough and usual extensive research. I will have to follow out your links and evidence (hopefully during a lunch time, if I get one) but know you wouldn't post if you weren't convinced. That carries big weight in my camp.
Boy, it is going to truly suck if I am railroaded into voting for someone who carries a miniscule percent of my Conservative views, but obviously the only coherent decision would be to accept a disease from which we might someday recover vs. stepping off a cliff. Marvelous. Just when I was about sure this mess couldn't become more repugnant.
Thanks, as always, Heidianne, for your diligence and sense of duty. Surely this will cause you plenty of heat. But I know that you are also fire proof.

i fear you are right karen. the comment below yours may just prove it.
Posted by: heidianne jackson | Thursday, 24 April 2008 at 09:23
mr. (miss?) clifford, i appreciate your concern for my credibility, but it really is not necessary. i went to your link and to your site. i also went to some other sites and did some "independent research" as you recommended. well some MORE any how.
please note that in my post, while i did post the email and letters from mr. and mrs. davis i did not site them as my source for any other information. i went out and INDEPENDENTLY verified their information - and the verification came for people not just in this country but around the world.
i notice in your comment you say he wrote that "the American flag is an evil symbol that supports Devil worship" - if he did say that, please give me the link. i can find only your words saying he said it, and the words of others saying he said it. in the document you linked to he says two things about the american flag:
1. "THE UNITED STATES FLAG with five pointed Sirius stars. The U.S. is a pluralistic nation, giving all gods
equal status. It's public educational system is atheistic,
taking positions systematically opposed to the teachings of
the Bible."
2. "The five pointed Sirius star is the symbol on flags of many nations including the U.S.A., Iraq, North
Korea, China, and the European Union, just to mention a few.( search the history of the flags.)"
mr. clifford, neither of these statements are untrue. as to your statement that the nfl is a servant of satan, that is also not in the document you linked. but you have been fairly busy making that statement on other sites on the web.
the document you have linked to is standard history pertaining to the five-pointed star. and from an historical standpoint, it is 100% accurate. the conclusions he has reached are a theory put forth by christian missionaries as to why this symbol is becoming more and more prolific.
just because one doesn't agree his train of thought does not give one the right to espouse that the man and his wife are crazy. nor that they are an unreliable source of information.
the information in my post has been verified by people other than loren and celeste davis. many of the articles i read and some of the ones i posted PRE-DATE the letter from africa and all of my correspondence with the davis's and yet the information is still the same.
i suggest you take off your skewed world glasses and do some actualy independent research of your own and maybe you can learn something.
thanks for stopping by; you are welcome here any time.

di, i know how you feel about this whole election - i'm right there with you. however, as patrick has pointed out in his latest post, it is not longer a matter of picking the lesser of two evils.
it is a matter of shutting out evil.
not sure i'm fireproof, but i am willing to become singed in the defense of my country. as always, di, i appreciate your support and insight.

You think MY blog is good? THIS is OUTRAGEOUSLY great writing/thinking/research, Heidianne! Bravo! I'm going to link people to this TODAY. Everybody needs to read this. A friend's grandchildren are in love with Obama. She's asked me what to do and could I get her some information. VOILA. Have Americans gone MAD? This is a guy who has also said he feels our National Anthem should be "I'd like to teach the world to sing!" (I keep hoping that's not true, but I fear it is)
Except our indoctrinated kids just will not see anything wrong with all of this, will they. This is my biggest fear for America. Our kids are so gone, thanks to so many teachers/profs.
Thanks, Heidianne! ANd thanks for coming by. z

I spent a great deal of time reading your blog this afternoon. It seems for the past month, I have been spending a fair amount of time in Proverbs and I wanted to share with you some of its content:
Proverbs 18: 1-9
1) He who willfully separates and estranges himself [from God and man] seeks his own desire and pretext to break out against all wise and sound judgment.
2) A [self-confident] fool has no delight in understanding but only in revealing his personal opinions and himself.
3) When the wicked comes in [to the depth of evil], he becomes a contemptuous despiser [of all that is pure and good], and with inner baseness comes outer shame and reproach.
4) The words of a [discreet and wise] man’s mouth are like deep waters [plenteous and difficult to fathom], and the fountain of skillful and godly Wisdom is like a gushing stream [sparkling, fresh, pure, and life-giving].
5) To respect the person of the wicked and be partial to him, so as to deprive the [consistently] righteous of justice, is not good
6) A [self-confident] fool’s lips bring contention, and his mouth invites a beating.
7) A [self-confident] fool’s mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to himself.
8) The words of a whisperer or talebearer are as dainty morsels; they go down into the innermost parts of the body.
9) He who is loose and slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer and he who does not use his endeavors to heal himself is brother to him who commits suicide.
Proverbs 18: 20, 21
A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil].
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
Proverbs 16: 2-6
2) All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart).
3) Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
4) The Lord has made everything [to accommodate itself and contribute] to its own end and His own purpose—even the wicked [are fitted for their role] for the day of calamity and evil.
5) Everyone proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting, hateful, and exceedingly offensive to the Lord; be assured [I pledge it] they will not go unpunished.
6) By mercy and love, truth and fidelity [to God and man—not by sacrificial offerings], iniquity is purged out of the heart, and by the reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord men depart from and avoid evil.
Proverbs 15:10
There is severe discipline for him who forsakes Gods’ way; and he who hates reproof will die [physically, morally, and spiritually].
I made it a point of typing these scriptures because of what was said about Obama, Clinton, and the DOI on your blog and [some of it] in this post.
In the DOI they CLEARLY recognized God and gave ALL that they were to this country in clear recognition that it is in God they trusted, and looked to for wisdom and justice. Even a 10 year old with half a brain that actually sat down to listen to the political campaign, based on the above information given, could see simplistically that our ‘potential leaders’ are selfish and self-righteous. NO ONE qualifies for president in my opinion!
Yes, I wished we had better leadership, better schools/education and even better churches for that matter. The fact of the matter is: WE have left our FIRST LOVE. We have tossed God aside, made our own way and expect Him to fix it if it gets really bad.
As a nation, we should ALL REPENT. Yes, I’m just one person – but God knows my heart as well as everyone else’s on the face of this planet. There is coming an end and it’s soon – the writing is on the wall. If Obama actually make it into office (and I soooo hope he doesn’t), it may very well mark the beginning of the true Last Days / End of Days.
But we as a society have done this to ourselves. We have lacked in areas of integrity, faithfulness, diligence and character. It has shown up in every area and facet of our lives – God, family, church and work!
Thanks for letting me vent.
Kim

it's an awful thing, angel. it is because of the pc police that it is such an ordeal to find and disseminate information. and it will get worse before (if it ever) gets better if we don't all wake up and take a stand.

Heidianne, you couldn't have been any more pointed and thorough than this post. I did some research on Obama's links to Kenya and found much of what you say above and can verify that it is spot on, plus you've added much more. I find Obama a terrifying prospect for America and I'm not living there at the moment, but have a lot of loved ones over there. He is riddled and consumed with hatred for white Americans. As you say, he is not an American as we know Americans. He is, in reality, an infiltrator who will subvert and turn on its head the America which has existed as a stalwart for goodness in the world for the past century. He will especially go for the core of that goodness, the social Conservatives and he will not rest until he wipes us out.
Has there been a more evil candidate in America's history? I thought Hillary Clinton was as evil as you could get, but unfortunately, I believe Obama marginally outdoes her.
Yes, both of these monsters make McCain look positively lovely (and that's no mean feat).
I will link to you on this important post.

kim, thank you for your kind words and your wisdom in tying this into the biblical perspective. please come by again.
Posted by: heidianne jackson | Thursday, 24 April 2008 at 18:34
By the way, Kim Wilson, you are so absolutely right on target with this:
As a nation, we should ALL REPENT.
At this point, I don't believe we are going to fully ward off the consequences of the evil resident in our nations (I'm living in Australia right now), but at least there can be some mercy for a remnant. For too long, we have allowed the dark forces of the Marxist infiltration and the anti-American and amoral garbage of Hollywood to continue unopposed. Repenting means not watching their garbage any more and taking no part in anything that smacks of their stench.

I have maintained throughout that there remains something about Obama, almost elusive, that it’s the unknown Obama that we should also be concerned about, his true religious viewpoints, connections, affiliations and past, and now we read this. I thought it was bad enough that he is willing to negotiate and trade with some of the more tyrannical leaders of the Islamic world. We know which candidate the Islamic world would prefer to win in November?
A commendable post and one that deserves much mileage…

I doubt you missed much Heidi as I have said you are one of the best at research in the blogosphere. I am glad something broke you out of your post Fred funk, we need folks like you to help defeat either of those socialists. Obama associates with lots of moonbats and even admitted in his book that he sought them out.
Posted by: Goat | Thursday, 24 April 2008 at 22:25
I'm not an Obama fan. I am voting for Clinton, and I believe that she will earn the nomination - if for no other reason than there are just too many questions of the kind you raise here about Obama and his ties.
However, I have to take issue with the comments you make and that you refer to in your links that make it sound as though the Islamic religion itself is evil, and is to be eradicated from our country. It's an extremely arrogant attitude that too many Christians take today that no one in our nation should be allowed to be in any seat of power if they do not adhere to the same religious affiliation. It is a lie to say that this country was founded on a Christian belief system, and it is a travesty that religion of ANY kind is so entrenched in the government of our country that we have become intolerant as a nation to anything else.
I have no problem with Obama being of an Islamic, Bhuddist, Jewish, or whatever religious affiliation he chooses. I have no problem with any potus believing something different than I do about the afterlife, salvation, or our purpose on this earth. My problem with Obama - and what I hope you will focus on - is the ties he may have to terrorist activity.
Thanks for your interesting posts.

laurie, welcome and thank you for taking the time to comment. i certainly appreciate it.
however, as to your exceptions i have to take issue with what you have written.
1. i am not a christian afraid of the bogey man in my closet. in point of fact, i have said nothing in any post to indicate what my religious beliefs are and i think that you are being arrogant to make a comment on what i believe when you have no idea what my personal beliefs are.
2. have you ever read the koran? i have, a number of times. i have also made a point of seeking out former muslims and christians who have lived among the muslims in lands where islam has greater control than here.
islam is not a benign, feel good religion. in fact it is much, much more than a religion. it is an entire social structure, faith system and government structure (including laws for every occasion) all rolled up into one convenient package.
it does not recognize the laws of any sovereign country as being above the laws of the koran (and muhammed's writings). it does not recognize that anyone of any other spiritual belief has any right to life - let alone liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
a person who does not recognize the laws of a sovereign country can not be trusted to uphold those laws. that is not arrogance or fear. that is logic.
if a muslim is willing to denounce the parts of his religious beliefs that state no laws are above the laws of the koran, than i have no problem with him (or her - yeah that'd happen) be elected to anything. however, please note that no muslim would do this because he would likely come to untimely demise.
3. it is not a lie to say this country was founded on a christian belief system. i encourage you to read the first three segments in my constitution series. i also encourage you to read the declaration of independence, the federalist papers and the anti-federalist papers. just for good measure you might do some research and read some other writings of our founding fathers.
then do some research and find out when the first chaplain was hired for the supreme court. how about for congress? and oh, of what belief system are these chaplains? here's a hint: it's not bhuddist, jewish or islamic.
you are correct to say that our founding fathers were fully against the establishment of a state church - but you are (at best) naive to think they were not men of deep and abiding faith.
4. can you please clarify for me who the terrorist are who are active in this world, by and large? i'm pretty sure they aren't christians, bhuddists, or israelites. and i'm pretty certain that the active terrorists are working under the guise of a JIHAD. look it up - that is from the islamic religion.
5. if islam is a religion of peace, where are all of the peaceful (or at least moderate) muslims denouncing the activity of the so-called extremists? is that an echo i hear?
laurie, again, thank you for stopping by and commenting. you are welcome here at any time, but please come prepared and informed.

Heidianne:
I'm linking to this post. I've thought a lot about all of your information and think it needs to be shared with my readers.

Hey there Heidi! It's a lot to absorb. I'm definitely NOT voting for Clinton or Obama and I'm really not sold on McCain. Frankly I don't think any of them has our best interests in mind. I don't know what to think about Obama. Having had contact with many African graduate students over the years I have been told stories about things they have witnessed--stories that are not even close to what we hear and read over here.I have been told stories by students where the US media and gov't portrayed some situation in Africa to be desperate and terrible but it didn't even exist. And then I've heard stories where things were dire over there and reported as not an issue here. It's very difficult to believe anything one reads or hears anymore. I do trust many of the folks who have been there. They've seen their country firsthand. I don't know what to think about Obama's cousin. I'm NO fan of Obama but I'm also not inclined to put too much faith in his radical cousin either. Those emails sent by the Davis's certainly are interesting to read. There's so much info out there, who knows what to believe? I do know I am not voting for any of the three of them. Which leaves me where.....??? I don't know. I just don't know.

I'm new here, came by way of Karen's place. She and I are penquin afficianados among other things. :-)
It makes me sad that you put so much time into "researching" this post because it clearly speaks to the fact that, in the current political mood, you can research just about anything and come up with "facts" or dirt or rumors to support your position. While I agree with you that the Islamic faith is a harsh one, find me the religion of peace that hasn't been, in the hands of earthly souls, a source of horrific blood shed, colonialism and terrible prejudice. Possibly those poor monks in Tibet, although they are finally putting on their fighting robes too, in self-defense.
This entire post is premised on the notion that Obama is a closet muslim jihadist and it frightens me to realize how many of your readers jump right on that band wagon with absolutely nothing to support that but rumors perpetuated by members of the same club. I belong to a club of woman knitters and we all agree that crocheters are Satanic. Doesn't make it so- it's just preaching to the choir. Saying something enough times enough different ways DOES NOT MAKE IT SO. And all logic and rational thought flies in the face of this post. Followed to it's logical conclusion, one would suppose that Barack Obama wants to be president for the sole purpose of selling us out to terrorists.
As I read this post and then all of the comments, I am even more committed to the notion that this country MUST change and move away from our egocentric posture of God given-power and might. I can live my faith in my family, my church, my neighborhood and practice it in my life but I need my government to be going about the business of securing housing, education and healthcare for my children and theirs.

Laurie is either willfully ignorant, or just plain ignorant about the Muslim "religion".
I lived in the very heart of the Middle East and worked directly for the country's rulers. There is absolutely NO tolerance of departing from the Muslim "faith" if you are a declared Muslim.
Right now, I know of a college aged Muslim who has secretly become a Christian and is in dire fear of being found out by his own parents, who have stated at their own dinner table that ANYONE who attempts to leave the Muslim "religion" deserves nothing but death. The son asked directly if they would feel that way about an actual family member, to which they replied... "Absolutely. He would bring great shame upon our family in the eyes of Allah and killing would be the only acceptable alternative to restore the family's honor."
The "tolerance" that Laurie endorses will never be a reciprocal arrangement with any Muslim. She seems to be quite bamboozled by the rhetoric from what some Muslims HERE claim and unable to grasp the mindset. They have zero reluctance to make these claims, as their "faith" allows deceit as a weapon in the name of "Holy Jihad". We insist upon imposing rules of good conduct and they recognize the advantages of no holds barred. Rather British, I would say.
It is the willingness to close your eyes to these facts that allow the continuing creeping Shariah. Those that speak out, such as myself and others here, would be the primary initial targets to silence. Those who don blinders for now, like Laurie, will be offered dhimmitude for awhile. But even those "dogs", in the eyes of a "good Muslim", will become an intolerable blemish on their otherwise perfect Caliphate once those who speak out are gone.
Thanks to the inability of so many, like Laurie, to call a spade a spade, the Caliphate may indeed someday overtake us, but I can guarantee a bloody fight on my way out.
I don't hate Laurie, or those like her, for their lack of reality. I would rather wish to see us all survive the onslaught of evil that confronts us. To do otherwise is to besmirch the sacrifices of those who gave all for our freedom, and to relinquish the hope of tomorrow for our children. May God give us the strength to triumph.

Lots of drama about Obama's momma's baby's daddy.
Posted by: Beamish | Friday, 25 April 2008 at 10:55
Defiant Infidel, it's good to hear the truth from where the truth is happening. Thanks so much for your insight.
To Vicki,if you believe in our constitution, what you suggest about education, housing and healthcare is illegal.
As for religions; can anyone deny the Judeo Christian faiths/ethic are the roots of our country? Are you so eager to see that pass to islam, a 'faith' bent on America's demise as we know her? Or Marxism? Are government helping us every step of the way more important or more uplifting than achieving success on your own and then helping others less fortunate with your own money? We need to think these things through and base our opinions on evidence, like Heidianne did in this piece.

I also came here via Karen... she says so well what I'm thinking that I don't have to blog about it, she already has! And now you have too! This was very well done. Politics and religion don't seem to be well received on my 'coffee talk' blog but I think I'm going to link to you anyway as I've been fairly vocal from the beginning about my feelings on Obama.
Posted by: meritt | Friday, 25 April 2008 at 12:59
It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that Obama is trying to become President just to get all of us infidels to become Muslims or die. I do believe he's too good to be true, perhaps because we're used to such crap, BUT...still I just don't buy him. On the other hand, I also don't buy everything I read and hear and I don't quite buy the sentiment running around about Obama. The internet is a big place and there is all kinds of information out there, some true, some not.
The problem is that politics always gets in the way of truth. Always. :)

Excellent article. Many of us have read some of these links/articles, but not all of them. It is a real benefit to readers to have it all here on one spot, well researched by our friend, thanks.
We must see that Obama does not get elected, even if it means Hillary Clinton (and Bubba) are back on the White House. McCain may not have a chance if he keeps insulting Conservatives. Heaven help us all.

Heidi: This is an entry that needs to be read a couple of times over, but I must say you're on to something big.
I'll give it another good read tomorrow, and I'll likely post on it. This does need to go viral!
Great work!

Heidianne, I am linking this post to my blog. I have taken quite a beating from leftwingers over my stance that Obama is out to destroy this country, so I guess I will take the insults and crap again. Great Post and research. Thank you.

Eye-opening and those that dispute it have not read it and nor will they ever; they will continue in their ignorance until the jihadist's sword is at their necks. Only as their dying blood spatters on the ground will they reconsider, for they are only cowards who clothe themselves in pretend Christianity and bury their talents in the ground.

Hi Heidianne,
Excellent Post. I've always enjoyed your comments over at DI's blog, which is how I found this post too.
I intend to link this in a mass email to my friends and family. Thanks for your hard work!

First time comment to your site. Great post!!!!
Would you be willing to write about Obama's birth cirtificate???
I have read that he is NOT ELIGABLE to run for president due to the fact that he is not "naturally born in the U.S."
Also, the MI and FL situation. Here are a few links that i have found that PROVE Obama shouldn't get a delegate from EITHER STATE!!!!
This is PHOTO PROOF of Obama talking to reporters in Tampa last September not 24hrs after the pledge took affect. PERSONAL APPEARANCES ARE AGAINST THE PLEDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is evidence of his "last-minute" effort to encorage "uncommitted" in MI.
Please look into these matters.

hi john and welcome. i think you have mccain and obama confused - obama was born in honolulu in 1961 so he is absolutely a naturally born citizen; mccain on the other hand was born in panama when his father was stationed there with the u.s. navy so there was some speculation that he wasn't "naturally born." however a bipartisan group of attorneys has concluded that he is indeed naturally born as any u.s. military base IS u.s. soil.
as to the rest, i'll look into it shortly.
thanks again!

Thank those who are spreading the word about Obama. Race is not the issue, it is his character and hidden agenda that worries me. I hope the DNC wakes up. I find it difficult to believe Edward Kennedy and other leaders are supporting this person. I thought they were smarter. Thank goodness the American people are smarter and if forced, will vote for McCain to keep this man from winning. I personally want to support Hillary. She is tough and foreign countries will not be able to pull the wool over her eyes. I think she would serve us well. You don't have to like her, you have to believe in her desire to keep America safe.
